Freelancer Tourist Guide

I work as a Freelancer Tourist Guide and my home office is at A-3/21 on the first floor in Rohini, Sec-11. Being in North Delhi means I am a bit away from the main tourist spots, but it is a good place to live and work. I have my maps and my books spread out on a table in the front room where I plan the routes for the day. It is just me running things, so I don't have a big staff or a fancy office. I spend a lot of time on my phone talking to people who want to see the sights around Delhi and sometimes further away. My neighbors know what I do and they often see me leaving early in the morning with my bag packed. The first-floor spot is nice because I can see the street from my window and know when my taxi has arrived. I keep a lot of brochures and notes from my previous trips in a big cupboard. It is a simple life but I like the independence of it. Sometimes the internet is slow when I am trying to research a new monument, but I usually manage. I don't have a mission statement or a polished brand. I just know the city well and I enjoy showing the hidden corners to people who are interested. If you come by, you will likely find me drinking tea and marking up a map.
