Freelancer In Events

We’ve been here at 12, Upper Ground Floor in Kailash Hills for a bit now. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi, and honestly, the stairs can be a bit much when we’re hauling gear for a show. Freelancer In Events is basically just a group of us who enjoy putting things together. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sketching out floor plans on whatever paper is handy. It gets pretty crowded in the office with all the samples and leftover decor from the last wedding or corporate thing we handled. Most days, someone is out looking for a specific type of fabric or checking on a stage setup while the rest of us stay back in Kailash Hills to handle the emails. It isn’t always glamorous, and sometimes the internet goes out right when we need it most. We know the local tea stall guy better than our own families some weeks. The neighborhood is lively, which helps when we’re stuck working late nights. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the job done. People drop by, the chai gets cold, and we keep moving. Being a freelancer in this industry means you never really stop, but we like being right here in the mix of things. It’s home for us and our work.
