Freelacer

I’m staying in Room No- 324 at the Sutlej Hos in New Delhi 110067. The name on my business listing is Freelacer. It’s just me and my laptop in a small room. The hostel is part of a large campus, so there are always students walking around in the corridors. My room has a single bed, a wooden desk, and a chair that squeaks a bit. I’ve got my books piled up in the corner and a lamp for when I work late at night. The window looks out onto the trees and some of the other hostel blocks. It’s not a corporate office by any means. I do all my work right here. Sometimes I go down to the common mess to get food or talk to people. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes, so I have a backup connection. Being a freelancer in a hostel means my space is limited, but I make it work. I have a small shelf for my files and a few notebooks where I write down my to-do lists. The walls are that standard hostel yellow. It’s quiet enough during the day when most people are at classes. I spend hours here typing away. It’s a very simple way of working. I don’t have employees or a big sign outside. Just a room number and a computer. It’s where I get everything done, from the morning until I turn off the lights at night. It's my small workstation.
