Free Lancer

I’ve been doing this Free Lancer thing for a while now from Nehru Nagar in New Delhi. The address is 9/29 and it’s a pretty simple spot. I don't have a big team or anything, just me and occasionally someone helping out when things get really backed up. Most days involve sitting at the desk and just getting through whatever work came in over the morning. Nehru Nagar is a busy place so there's always noise outside from the street, but you get used to it. I started this because I didn't want to work in a big corporate building anymore. It's nicer being my own boss even if it means I end up working late nights sometimes. People around here know where the office is, though it’s not flashy. I try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs something done, they just come by or send a message. There isn't a fancy reception area or a coffee machine that does anything special. It’s just a room with a computer and some chairs. I handle a lot of different tasks, mostly whatever people ask for. Some days are slow, others I can barely keep up with the emails. That’s just how it goes when you’re on your own. I’ve lived in New Delhi my whole life and this little corner of Nehru Nagar feels like home now. Anyway, that’s basically what happens here every day. No big mystery to it.
