The address we are at is actually on Dum Dum Road in Kolkata, even if the name mentions Jamshedpur. It’s a bit of a situation how that happened, but we are settled in here at 42/23. We share the space with the Thalkudar family and Kalyan Broto Chowdhury. Being in Dum Dum means it’s always loud outside with the traffic and the people heading to the station. The building itself is older, and you can feel the history of the neighborhood when you walk up. It’s not some sterile hotel environment; it feels more like a lived-in space. We spend our days managing things from this small corner of the city. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we’ve adapted to that pace. It gets hot in the summers, and the rain in monsoon makes getting to work a challenge, but we show up regardless. We don’t have a big reception desk or a shiny lobby. It’s more about the desks, the chairs, and the files we keep track of. Sometimes people get confused by the name and the location being different, but once they find us, they see we are just regular folks working hard. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the neighbors know us. We drink tea from the stall down the road and keep our heads down. It's practical work in a practical city. We like it this way.
