We operate out of 8-B in Pocket A of the Sidhartha Extension here in New Delhi. It is a quiet enough corner compared to the rest of the city. We have been planning trips and arranging travel for people for a good while now. The office is mostly just a few desks, some old maps on the walls, and a lot of notebooks filled with dates and prices. We do not really go in for the big fancy advertisements you see in magazines. Most people find us because they live nearby or a friend told them we could help with a visa or a bus ticket. It is a lot of checking and double-checking flight times and hotel availability. Sometimes the systems go down and we have to do things the old-fashioned way on paper until the internet comes back. We have seen the travel industry change a lot over the years, but the basic job of getting someone from one place to another stays the same. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually get our morning fix. The office gets a lot of sun in the morning, which makes it a bit hot before we turn the fans on. We have got stacks of old itineraries in boxes under the tables. It is not the most modern setup, but it is ours and it is where we do our bit every day.
