Fleet Owner

Over here at B 25 in New Gupta Colony, we run things for Fleet Owner. Delhi is a fast-moving city, and being in the 110009 zip code means we are right in the thick of it. Our work is mainly about managing vehicles and drivers. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, but we are used to it by now. The office is tucked away, and it’s where we do all the planning. We have notebooks full of schedules and boards with driver names on them. It’s not a high-tech operation. We mostly rely on phone calls and knowing the people we work with personally. Sometimes a truck breaks down or a driver gets stuck in heavy traffic, and we have to figure out a new plan on the fly. It can be a bit chaotic, especially in the early mornings. We drink a lot of tea while we sort out the routes for the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest fleet in India; we just want to keep our vehicles moving and our clients happy enough. It’s honest, hardworking stuff. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of practical talk and getting things done. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best. We keep at it every day because that is what the job requires.
