Flaming Mustard

Flaming Mustard is located at 144/9, inside Mohan Bhawan. This is in the Kishangarh area, which is right next to Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that’s okay with us. The building, Mohan Bhawan, has been around for a long time and shows its age in a few places, but it’s got a lot of character. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area. It’s not a huge place, so you have to be careful not to bump into anyone when it’s busy during the dinner rush. We’ve got a few burners and some heavy pots that we use all day long to get things ready. The smell of whatever we are cooking usually fills up the whole hallway of the building. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to tell us how to talk to people. We just serve the food and hope folks enjoy what they eat. Sometimes the delivery bikes are lined up outside on the street, making it a bit crowded for the neighbors. Kishangarh is a busy part of town, so there is always someone coming or going. We keep the floor swept and the counters wiped down as best as we can. It’s a lot of hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just a regular local eatery where we do our best.
