We are over here at House No: 28 in the St. John’s Church Compound in Mehrauli. It’s a busy spot most days because we handle a lot of food orders for people around New Delhi. First Option Catering Services has been around for a bit now. Being in the church compound makes it easy for folks to find us if they know the area. Mehrauli is always crowded, so getting the vans in and out for deliveries can be a real headache sometimes, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants their food at the same time. We spend most of our mornings getting the vegetables sorted and the big pots going. It isn't a fancy setup, just a practical one where we get the cooking done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a while, but we manage. Most of us have lived in Delhi for years, so we know how to deal with the heat in the kitchen. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us working out of this house, making sure the orders are ready on time. If you walk by, you’ll probably smell whatever is on the stove that day. We keep things simple and just focus on the catering work we have to do. The neighborhood is old and has a lot of character, which we like, even if the streets are narrow for our trucks.
