Fire & Ice Restaurent

Fire & Ice Restaurent is located in New Delhi, specifically in the 110059 zip code area. We aren't one of those places with a Michelin star or a dress code. We just serve food that we like to eat ourselves. The kitchen stays hot, especially in the summer, which I guess explains the 'Fire' part of the name. We spend a lot of our mornings at the market picking out vegetables and whatever meat looks good that day from the vendors. It is a lot of chopping, stirring, and tasting to make sure things are right before the doors open for lunch. We have a few tables that have seen better days, but they are clean and sturdy enough for a meal. The staff is mostly just family and a couple of guys from the neighborhood who needed work. We don't have a fancy menu printed on thick cardstock; it is usually just written on a board or a simple sheet of paper. Sometimes we run out of a dish early if it's popular, and we just have to tell people sorry. We try to keep the prices fair so people can come in more than once a week if they want to. It gets loud when the lunch rush hits, and the dishes start piling up in the back. We just keep cooking and serving until the last person leaves. It's a simple life, but it keeps us busy and fed, which is enough for us.
