Fedex Express

Fedex Express is tucked away in Flat No. 33, Sector-1, Pocket-3 of Dwarka Phase-1. Being in a residential pocket like this in New Delhi makes for a different kind of workday. It is not like a huge warehouse or a corporate tower. Instead, we are inside a flat that we have converted into our operating space. Finding us can be a little bit of a puzzle if you are not familiar with how Dwarka is laid out with all its sectors and pockets. There is usually a lot of coming and going with packages being moved in and out. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if we have a lot of heavy items that day. We have a small team here and we mostly just focus on getting things sorted and labeled correctly. The rooms are filled with boxes of all sizes, and there is always the sound of tape dispensers being used. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the flat number 33 to let you know you are in the right spot. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We are just regular people trying to keep track of everything that passes through our hands. It is a busy, slightly messy, but functional place where we spend our hours every day.
