Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce & Industry (Ficci)

The Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce & Industry, or FICCI as most people say, has a local presence here at Rz 779/B on Street No. 13. We are over in Sadh Nagar, which is part of the Palam Colony area. It is a busy, working-class neighborhood in New Delhi 110045. Our office here is not one of those big, impressive halls you might see on the news. It is a very normal, slightly cramped office in a regular building. We spend our time working on matters that affect local businesses and industry. This involves a lot of meetings, phone calls, and writing reports that most people would find quite dry. There is usually a lot of noise coming in from the street, but we have gotten used to the sound of horns and vendors. We do not have any expensive furniture or high-tech gadgets. It is mostly just old desks and stacks of documents that seem to grow every week. We try to help out where we can by connecting different business owners or providing information they might need. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It is a very human way to work. We have been in this street for a long time and the local shopkeepers know us well. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
