Fed Ex

We are located at 10th Cross in Thip Sandra, down here in Bangalore. This place is always moving. There are boxes everywhere and the sound of tape dispensers is pretty much constant. Fed Ex is a big name, but this specific spot is where the local work happens. We handle the packages coming in and going out of this part of the city. The delivery drivers are always coming in and out, checking their clipboards and loading up the vans. It’s a bit dusty and it can get very hot in the afternoons, but the work doesn’t stop. We spend a lot of time scanning barcodes and making sure the labels are stuck on tight. If someone comes in with a package, we weigh it on the scale and tell them how much it costs. It’s not a quiet office environment. It’s loud and busy and there’s always a truck idling outside. We know the roads in Thip Sandra like the back of our hands, which helps when things need to move fast. Some days are harder than others, especially when there’s a lot of heavy lifting to do. We don’t have fancy furniture or a nice waiting area. It’s a warehouse-style setup meant for moving things from point A to point B. We just focus on getting the crates and envelopes where they need to go each day. It’s a simple process that keeps us on our feet all day long.
