Fashion Bar & Lounge Hotel Ashok New Delhi

We've been running the Fashion Bar & Lounge for a while now. It's inside Hotel Ashok, but we deal with most of our administrative things from our office over at 9/11 Old Rajinder Nagar. New Delhi is a busy place and we just try to keep up with the daily rush of guests coming through the doors. Most days start early with checking the stock and making sure the music setup is working right before people show up. It’s a lot of work to keep a lounge going in this city. We have a small team here who knows the regulars by name. Sometimes things get hectic when there’s a big crowd, but we just handle it as it comes. It's not always perfect, sometimes a light bulb goes out or a chair needs fixing, but we get it done. The office in Old Rajinder Nagar is where we handle the boring paperwork and phone calls that keep the lounge running smoothly. We don't really do big speeches or fancy ads. We just open the doors and hope people have a decent time. Being in this part of Delhi means meeting all sorts of people every single night. It keeps us on our toes for sure. Most of us have been working here long enough that it feels like a second home. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff like cleaning up and making sure the drinks are cold enough. It’s a simple way to work. We like it.
