We’ve been here at M-44 in Chittaranjan Park for quite a while now. Most people know us because we’re right in the middle of the Kalkaji area. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My brother and I usually open up early in the morning, getting things ready before the sun gets too high. There’s always a lot of foot traffic near the market, so we see all kinds of people coming by. Some are regulars who live right around the corner and others are just passing through to get to the station. We try to keep things simple and just do our work without making a big fuss. The place isn’t very big, but it’s enough for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We don’t have fancy signs or a big office. It’s just this small space where we get stuff done every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, new shops coming and old ones leaving, but we’re still here at the same spot. If you walk down the lane past the main shops, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually stay open until the evening when the street lights come on and everyone starts heading home for dinner. It’s just a normal way to run things. We hope to stay here for a long time yet.
