We’re located on the third floor of Sher Singh Market, which is at 1824/A in Kotla Southex. It’s a pretty central part of Delhi-110003, so there’s always something happening right outside the windows. Being up on the third floor means we’re a bit removed from the noise of the market, which helps us focus on our work at Fareportal India. The office is mostly filled with computers and people on headsets. It gets a bit warm in the summer, even with the fans going, but we’re used to it. We handle a lot of travel-related stuff, so there’s always a bit of a rush to get things sorted out for people. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of typing and checking details on the screen. We eat our lunch together in the small break area when we can. The market downstairs is great for picking up snacks or whatever else we need. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just a simple door that says who we are. It’s a workplace where we just try to get through the queue of tickets and keep things moving. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow, so many of us just take the stairs. It’s just a normal office where we put in our hours and try to do a good job without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and just keep moving forward with the daily schedule. It’s hard work, but we manage.
