Our office is on the first floor of number 27, right on New Rohtak Road in Karol Bagh. If you know this area, you know it is always crowded and the traffic noise is pretty much constant. We work in a space that is mostly filled with desks, computers, and a lot of tangled wires. It is a typical back-office setup for travel services. Most of us are here all day looking at data and talking to people on our headsets. It is not the kind of place people visit for fun; it is where the actual work of sorting out bookings and travel plans happens. Sometimes it gets really loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. We have got a small pantry in the back where we take breaks and complain about the long commute. The building itself is a bit older, so the elevator is slow, and we often just take the stairs to the first floor. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes taped to our monitors. Every day is pretty much the same routine of logging in and helping customers navigate their travel issues. We deal with many different time zones, so some people are here quite late at night. It is a regular job in a busy part of Delhi. We just try to get through the work and hope the systems stay up.
