My shop is called Faltu, and we are on Red Mark Street in Khanpur, at B/125. The name is a bit of a joke, but we take the work seriously. Khanpur is a lively place. Red Mark Street is usually packed with vendors and shoppers. Our shop is right in the middle of it. I’ve got a workbench in the back where I do all the soldering. It’s a bit messy, with wires and heat guns everywhere. Out front, I have a glass case with some used phones and some new accessories. People always try to bargain, which is part of the fun of being in Khanpur. I’ve been here since I was much younger. I learned everything about phones by just opening them up and seeing how they work. We don't have a fancy waiting area. Just a stool for whoever is next in line. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but I never seem to find the time. I'm usually too busy trying to find a specific part for a customer. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains, and we have to put sandbags by the door. It’s just part of life here. I enjoy the noise and the people. It’s a good community. We just keep doing what we do, one phone at a time. I don't see myself doing anything else really. It’s what I know best.
