Faculty

Faculty is right here on Khazanchi Road in Nayatola. If you know Patna, you know how crowded it gets around here with all the students and bookshops lining the streets. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and chairs where we get the work done. Most days it’s pretty loud outside because of the traffic and the students walking to their next class. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in to ask about different courses or study materials. It’s a small team of us working here. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how things are in this part of town, so we keep a couple of torches handy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because there’s always something else to do. People find us easily because everyone knows the Nayatola area well. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. It gets a bit dusty inside, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the front desks every morning. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai and talk about the day ahead. It’s just a regular workplace doing what we do every day. We just try to keep things moving and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s a busy life here in Patna-4.
