Our spot is tucked away in L Block, specifically Flat No 176A over in Lajpatnagar, Sahibabad. It’s a residential area mostly, so it feels quite different from the big office parks you see in Ghaziabad. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the everyday problems that pop up in buildings around here. It might be a leaky pipe one morning or someone needs the floors cleaned properly before a big event. We aren't a huge team with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Most of us just show up, grab the gear we need, and head out to wherever the work is that day. Living and working in the U.P. side of the border means we deal with a lot of local folks who just want things fixed without a fuss. We keep our supplies in the flat and use it as a base to coordinate who is going where. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to actually sit down for a minute. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, so we know the local roads and the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s honest work, keeping things running for other people. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, sometimes longer if the job needs it. We keep our tools ready and our phones charged.
