Explore Himalaya - Kathmandu Nepal

We are located at 52 F / Bb in Janakpuri, which is a busy part of New Delhi. Even though the name Explore Himalaya - Kathmandu Nepal mentions other places, this is where we do the actual work. The office is tucked into a residential-looking block, so it feels more like a house than a big business center. We spend our time talking about mountains and treks while sitting in the Delhi heat. It’s a bit of a funny contrast. Our space is filled with maps and old brochures from trips years ago. We have a small table where we sit and go over itineraries with people who drop by. The fan overhead clicks a bit, but it keeps us cool enough. We are a small group and we’ve worked together for a long time. Usually, the phone is ringing with someone asking about weather or permits. We try to be helpful without sounding like we are reading from a script because we aren't. We just tell people what we know from experience. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window until it comes back on. Janakpuri is a good place to be, with plenty of shops nearby if we need a snack. It’s a simple life here, just planning adventures for others while we stay grounded in our little office. We like the rhythm of it all.
