Our place is Flat Number 8 at R-30 in Kherki Extension. It’s tucked away in Malviya Nagar. We work on putting together big shows and exhibitions. It takes a lot of planning, so the office is usually buried under piles of paper and floor plans. It is not a shiny showroom itself. It is just where the thinking and the calling happen. We’ve been in New Delhi 17 for quite some time. The neighborhood is a bit cramped, but we make it work. Sometimes we are out at the big halls setting things up, and other days we are just sitting here in the flat. It is a small group of us. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. We just have calendars with dates circled in red ink. Organizing events is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. We talk to vendors and people who want to show off their products. It gets stressful when a deadline is close. We just keep our heads down and get through it. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb. It's an honest living. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want the events to go off without too many problems. That’s why we spend so many hours here in Kherki Extension. We just focus on the logistics.
