If you are looking for Equator Voyagers, we are up on the second floor of N-69A in Abul Fazal Enclave. The office is actually at Akhtar Ali’s place. You have to be a bit careful on the stairs because they are somewhat narrow. We have been running this travel business from this small office for quite some time now. It is mostly just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of phone calls going on all day. We spend most of our time looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best train bookings for people. New Delhi can be very hectic, and this neighborhood is certainly no different. There is always some noise coming up from the street, but we have gotten used to it. We are not a big agency with a flashy glass front on a main road. We are tucked away back here, just working on itineraries and helping people get where they need to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up really high, especially when the holiday seasons come around. We try to keep things organized, but it is a lot of back and forth with different airlines and hotels. It is just a small team of us here. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. Usually, someone is just sitting there with a headset on, trying to fix a booking problem. It is honest work and we just do our best for the people who find us through friends or family.
