Eoneway Cab

Eoneway Cab is based out of 180 Lajwanti Garden. It’s more of a dispatch spot than a fancy showroom. We have drivers coming in and out at all hours. Some are just starting their shift, others are dropping off keys after a long night. The phone rings a lot. Sometimes it’s someone needing a ride to the airport at four in the morning, or someone whose car broke down. We just try to find a car that’s close enough to help. It can get stressful when the traffic is bad and a customer is waiting. We can't control the roads, but we try to keep everyone updated. The office is just a room with some phones and a logbook. We write everything down so we don't lose track of who is where. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been in Lajwanti Garden for a good while, so we know all the alleys and backstreets. We don't have a big fleet of shiny new luxury cars, just cars that work and get you from point A to point B. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers about their routes. Sometimes we have to tell a customer we don't have a car available right then. It’s better to be honest than to make them wait for someone who isn't coming. We just do our best with the cars we have and the time we've got in the day.
