Enroute Travels

We are at Mohan Singh Place, number 47. This is right in Connaught Place, which is the center of everything. Our office is in one of those older buildings where the hallways feel a bit dark until you get inside. We have some desks and a couple of computers that are always on. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some posters on the walls of different places, but they are mostly there to cover up the marks on the paint. We spend our days handling bookings and talking to people who walk in after shopping in CP. It’s a busy spot. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea. Most of our work is just sitting and making sure the dates and names are correct on the tickets. It can be tedious but it has to be done. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are a giant company. We are just here doing our jobs in this old building. Sometimes the lift doesn't work so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. The windows look out toward the street, and we watch the crowds go by when we have a spare minute. It's a good place to work if you like being in the middle of the city. We have a lot of files to keep track of, but we manage. We keep a desk lamp on for the late evenings when it gets a bit dim.
