Emphasis

Our place, Emphasis, is located at House No. 882 N/M in the Pul-Bangash area, right near Azad Market. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and loud Azad Market can be. There are rickshaws and carts everywhere, and the smell of spices and old buildings is always in the air. We are tucked into one of these old houses, and the rooms have high ceilings and thick walls that stay surprisingly cool. It is a bit of a maze to get to us, with all the narrow alleys and people moving goods around. We do our work amidst the constant shouting of the marketplace outside. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to find a company, but it works for us. We have a few computers set up on old wooden tables, and the wiring is a bit of a mess, but everything runs okay. We mostly deal with local traders and people who are passing through the market. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so you have to be careful when you come up. We do not have any fancy signs, just a small nameplate on the door. It is a very honest way to work, being right in the heart of the old city where everyone is trying to make a living. We drink our chai, do our tasks, and watch the chaos of the market from our balcony when we take a break.
