Emirates

We are located over in Vaishali at Plot-143 in Sector-4. Our office is S-1 on the second floor. It is a quiet part of Ghaziabad, 201010. Even though the name Emirates is a big one, our local office is quite modest and down-to-earth. We have a few desks and some chairs for people who come in to ask about their travel plans or ticket changes. Mostly we are handling the local coordination and all the paperwork that comes with it. It can get a bit chilly in the winter because the windows don't close all the way properly. We usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet during the day. We don't have a bunch of corporate jargon or a fancy reception area with a water feature. It’s just us doing the daily tasks that need to be done. Some of us have been working here since the office first opened in this sector. We know the nearby shops well and often go out for a quick snack or a tea in the afternoons. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the main offices or customers who are confused. It’s a lot of clicking on screens and checking dates. We just try to keep things moving and get home to our families on time. There isn't much more to it than that. We are regular people working in Sector-4.
