Emirates

Emirates has an office at D2A/98B in Janak Puri, New Delhi 58. It’s tucked away in a residential and commercial mix that defines this part of the city. People often hear the name and think of the giant airplanes, but here at our local office, things are much more grounded and simple. We are just a group of people working in a regular room with desks and computers. Our day is mostly filled with answering questions and helping people navigate whatever they need from us. Janak Puri is a busy place, and getting to work can be a struggle some mornings with the metro and the rickshaws everywhere. We don't have a fancy corporate culture. We just talk to each other like normal people and get the job done. Our office isn't decorated with expensive art; it’s mostly just stacks of paper and the occasional calendar on the wall. We’ve been in this 58 area long enough to know the local rhythms. We don't try to sound like we are something we aren't. We are just a small part of a larger name, doing our bit from a corner in West Delhi. It’s a lot of routine work, but we don't mind it. We just keep things moving along as best as we can every day. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby and then get back to the phones.
