Emirates Airlines

Down here in Kollam, Kerala, we run the Emirates Airlines office from a place called Noor Mahal. It is located at number 33 in Musaliar Nagar, specifically in the Kilikolloor area. It is a bit different from the big airport hubs you might imagine. The office is in a more local setting, which is nice because it feels more personal. We deal with a lot of people from the neighborhood who are looking to travel abroad for work or to see family. The weather here in Kerala can get really humid, so we are thankful for the fans in the office. We handle ticket bookings, changes to flights, and general questions. Sometimes people come in just to ask about luggage rules. It is a steady stream of work. The building itself has its own character. It is not a glass skyscraper; it is a real place in a real community. We try to keep things moving quickly, but sometimes the systems are slow or there is a lot of paperwork to get through. We know the local shops around Kilikolloor well. Most of us have been working here for a good while, so we have seen many travelers come and go. It is just about helping people get from one place to another without too much stress, right from our desk in Kollam. We close up when the day is done and start again tomorrow.
