Electra Communications

We've been here in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase I for a good while now. Our spot is at 5A in Churiya Mohalla, right in the thick of things near Tekhand. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is getting to their workshops. We handle a lot of communication equipment and setups at Electra Communications. It's not the most glamorous work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but that’s just life in an industrial area. People know us by the sign outside, which has seen better days, but it does the job. Most of our day is spent sorting out orders or talking to people who drop by looking for specific parts. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing our neighbors and keeping things simple. When you work in a place like Okhla, you learn to deal with the dust and the traffic. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings go up and old ones get fixed, but we’re still right here in the same corner. If you’re walking down the lane in Phase I, you’ll probably see our staff moving boxes around or just catching a quick tea break near the entrance. That's just how we operate. We keep the doors open as long as there is work to do.
