Ebooker

You can find us over at S-548 in Shakarpur, New Delhi. Our office is part of the space managed by Shahab Kamal. Shakarpur is a very crowded and busy neighborhood, but it’s got a lot of character. We’ve been working from here for a while now under the name Ebooker. It’s not a big glass office building like you see in the movies. It’s more of a lived-in space where we get our work done. We handle a lot of digital bookings and travel things on our computers. The street outside is always full of people and small vendors selling snacks and tea. We often go out and grab a quick bite during our lunch break. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone ringing. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. We just have what we need to stay productive. It’s a very local way of doing business. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to organize or a client to follow up with. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this part of Delhi. It’s a bit noisy and the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes, but it’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on making sure the bookings are correct. It’s simple, honest work and we like being right here in the mix of things. We try to answer every message that comes through before we leave.
