Dubai

Our place is located in Lado Sarai, specifically at M 76, Flat No 201. It’s a bit of a funny thing having a name like Dubai while being right here in New Delhi, but that’s just how it is. Lado Sarai has that specific feel to it, with all the narrow lanes and small offices everywhere. We work out of a flat, so it’s not some big corporate building with a glass front. You have to come up to the second floor to find us. It’s a lived-in space, with files on the tables and a small kitchen where we make tea. The morning starts with opening up the windows to let some air in, though the dust from the street usually comes in too. We handle a lot of different tasks during the day, mostly sitting at our computers or talking on the phone. The area is full of art galleries and small businesses, so there is always someone walking by. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup if it's working. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just running our daily operations from this little corner of the city. It’s a practical setup for what we need. Most of us have been working together for a while now, so we know how everyone likes their coffee. It’s just a regular office day for us. There is no polish here, just people doing their jobs.
