Our office is right there on Mandir Marg, which is a pretty well-known street in New Delhi. Number 184 is where we spend most of our days. Working here feels different because we’re right in the heart of everything. You can see the city moving all around you from the windows. Dsiidc has a lot of responsibilities when it comes to the infrastructure and industrial side of things in the city. It’s not always easy, and there’s always a lot of paperwork piled up on everyone’s desks. We aren't here to give sales pitches or act like we are something we're not. We just manage the projects and the sites that keep the city's industry moving along. The building itself has that old Delhi feel to it, a bit worn in some corners but it’s home to us. Most of us have been coming here for years, catching the same buses or driving through the same morning traffic. We deal with land, buildings, and all the stuff that goes into making sure businesses have a place to operate. It’s mostly about logistics and following the local rules. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something that needs checking or a file that needs moving to another department. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything. Just desks, chairs, and a lot of commitment to getting the job finished. It’s a government-related setup, so things follow a specific rhythm. We just try to keep things orderly and make sure the daily work gets done without too much trouble.
