Drivering Personal Taxi

We’ve been doing this for a while now from our spot here in Ram Nagar Extension. It’s just 1/4467 if you’re looking for the exact door. Delhi traffic is a bit of a nightmare most days but we manage to get around. It started with one car and just grew because people needed rides. My phone stays on my desk or in my pocket and usually it’s someone asking about a trip to the station or maybe the airport. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It's just a regular place where we keep the keys and the ledgers. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we just sit under the fan waiting for the next call. The drivers are local guys who know these roads better than any map. We try to keep the cars tidy but with the dust in New Delhi it’s a constant job. You’ll see us washing them early in the morning before the sun gets too high. It’s not a complicated business. We just take people where they need to go and try to be on time. Sometimes there's a delay because of a protest or a broken pipe in the street, but that's just life here. Ram Nagar is a busy area so there's always something going on outside the window while we work. We've got our routine down.
