Dr. Reddy'S Foundation

Our office for Dr. Reddy'S Foundation is tucked away over at C-8/A-1 on the IIT Campus in Hauz Khas. Being inside the campus makes it a bit different from the rest of New Delhi because there are more trees and it’s a little quieter. We’ve got desks full of papers and computers that hum all day long. Most of the time, we’re just sitting here going through files or talking on the phone with people. It’s a practical place, not something you’d see in a magazine. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as we can find what we need. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but we’re used to it by now. In Hauz Khas, you get a mix of students and people just passing through. We see a lot of that from our windows. Nobody here is trying to be a big boss. We just have tasks to finish before the day ends. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn’t need a screen. It’s just a regular office routine where everyone knows their part. We’ve been at this location for a while and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We just come in, do our hours, and head home like everyone else in the city.
