D.Pauls is based at 6/2, Railway Colony in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi. The address says Haryana sometimes because of how the borders work or old records, but we are right here in the 110023 area of India. Being in a railway colony means things are a bit different than a standard commercial area. There are a lot of old trees and the buildings have that government-style look to them. It’s a bit quieter than the main Sarojini market, which is a relief. We work out of this unit. It’s not a huge office. It’s got a few rooms where we keep our stuff and handle the day-to-day business. We have some old filing cabinets and desks that have seen better days. But everything works fine. We usually have the radio playing softly or just the sound of the ceiling fans. People who work here have been around for a long time. We know the neighbors and the local postman quite well. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest place to work. We don't have any marble floors or glass walls. We just sit here and do what needs to be done. It’s a good spot because it’s easy to get to, and we like the old-school feel of the colony. It’s just how we operate. Most days are pretty much the same and we like that just fine. We keep things moving and get home on time.
