If you walk down towards 93 Bg/1 in Paschim Vihar, you’ll find us right there. It’s a New Delhi neighborhood that never really seems to get quiet. Our shop is a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone gets hungry at the same time. You can usually smell the dough and the sauce from the sidewalk before you even get to the door. Inside, the floor is tiled and sometimes a bit slippery if it’s raining outside. We have the big ovens running all day, so it stays pretty warm in the kitchen area. The delivery guys are always coming and going, checking their phones and grabbing bags to head back out into the traffic. It’s a lot of fast movement and shouting out orders. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual signs and the menu boards. The chairs are those simple plastic ones for people waiting for their food. We try to keep things clean, but with so many people coming in, it’s a constant job. In the mornings, we spend time prepping the ingredients while the street outside slowly wakes up. It’s hard work and your hands get covered in flour by the end of the shift. We are just a local spot where people come when they don’t feel like cooking at home. It’s a simple setup at 93 Bg/1, and we’ve been part of this street for quite a while. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and we just have to keep moving.
