Bhogal is one of those places in New Delhi that never really sleeps. Our office is at 4, Samman Bazar, right in the thick of things in Jungpura. If you’ve ever been to Samman Bazar, you know how crowded it gets with the market stalls and people everywhere. We’ve been operating Dolphinn Group Of Hotels from this spot for quite some time. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes in the office, but we like being where the action is. My coworker and I usually start the day by going over the guest lists and seeing which rooms need the most attention. We manage several spots, so there is always someone calling about a lightbulb that went out or a booking that needs changing. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s ours. The building is old, and you can hear the street sounds all day long. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us answering phones and keeping the books. Jungpura has a specific feel to it, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We know the local shopkeepers and where to get the quickest lunch when we’re too busy to sit down. The stairs up to our office at number 4 are a bit steep and narrow, so we always tell people to watch their step. Sometimes the local delivery guys get lost in the bazar, so we have to go down and wave them in. It's a small place but we make it work.
