Dolphinn Group Of Hotels is our name and we run things from N-19A on the first floor in Jangpura Extension. It is one of those older neighborhoods in Delhi where the lanes can be a bit tight, especially if someone parks their car badly. We have been operating from this first-floor space for some time. It is not a huge fancy headquarters like you might see in a movie, but it works for us. We spend most of our time on the phones or dealing with booking stuff for the hotels. The office always has a bit of a buzz because there is always something going on with a guest or a room somewhere. The light in the office is okay, but we usually keep the windows shut because of the dust from the street. Jangpura is a nice area though, very central, so it’s easy for us to get around when we need to visit one of the properties. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits, like who forgets to wash their lunch box and who takes the long phone calls. We don’t really go in for the polished corporate look. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on getting the rooms sorted out. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing more, nothing less. If you walk up the stairs to the first floor, you’ll find us there among the files and the noise.
