Dlf Restaurant

If you find yourself in Tagore Garden Extension, you might have walked past Dlf Restaurant at D/267. We’ve been here serving food to the local crowd for a good amount of time. It’s a neighborhood spot through and through. The decor isn't anything to write home about, just some tables and chairs where you can sit and have a meal. We focus more on what is happening in the kitchen than how the walls look. My cousins and I started this because we wanted a place that served the kind of food we liked growing up in Delhi. We have everything from snacks to full plates of gravy and rice. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the market nearby, but inside it is usually just the sound of clinking plates and people talking. We don’t do any of that fancy fusion stuff. It’s just regular Indian food made the way it’s supposed to be. Some days we are packed, especially on weekends when families come out. Other times it is just a few regulars grabbing a quick bite. We keep the prices fair because we want the people who live around here to keep coming back. It is just a simple eatery run by people who live right in the area. We do a lot of takeout orders for people heading home from work too. There is no corporate management here, just us trying to make sure the food tastes right every single day.
