Our location is out in Phase V of DLF City in Gurgaon. It is a big area, and the golf resort takes up quite a bit of space with all that green grass and the open sky. We spend our days managing the grounds and the buildings that make up the resort. Working here is a bit different from a standard office job because you are always aware of the weather and how it affects the course. In the mornings, you can see the dew on the greens before the golfers start showing up. Our office is more of a functional space for the staff to coordinate maintenance and guest services. It gets pretty humid out here during the monsoon, and we spend a good amount of time making sure everything stays dry and functional. The staff here comes from all over, and we have a small break room where we eat lunch and talk about the day's tasks. It is not just about the golf; there is a lot of plumbing, electrical, and gardening work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the place looking decent. Gurgaon has grown up all around us with big buildings, but inside the resort, it still feels a bit more open. We just keep our heads down and do the work needed to keep the grass cut and the visitors satisfied without making a big deal out of it.
