About Divine International Tours – Tourism in Delhi
Our office, Divine International Tours, is tucked away in Palam, right near the Bata Chowk landmark. If you know New Delhi, you know how the traffic gets around here, so there is always a background hum of horns and engines coming through the windows. The space at Wz-806 isn't huge, but we've managed to cram enough desks in for everyone to have a spot. We spend the day looking at schedules and trying to make sense of international time zones. The walls are covered in some faded posters of places most of us haven't actually visited yet, but they look nice anyway. It gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we are constantly wiping down the keyboards and the tops of the monitors. We aren't a big operation with a lobby and a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello when someone walks in. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp when the bookings get complicated. Dealing with the Palam crowds every morning is a bit of a struggle, but once we’re inside the office, things settle down into a routine of emails and phone calls. We’ve got a stack of brochures that have been sitting in the corner for months, and the printer likes to jam whenever we are in a hurry. It’s a normal, slightly chaotic workplace where we just try to get people where they need to go without too much fuss.
