Direct Logistics

We are based at 34 Ata Colony, right near Shivaji Enclave in New Delhi. Direct Logistics is basically a bunch of us in an office surrounded by piles of documents and shipping logs. The colony is a decent place to work, though finding a parking spot near our building can be a real headache some days. Our office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s got old metal cupboards and desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone tracking where things are and talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets a bit stressful when things don’t arrive on time. We don’t have a receptionist or any of that, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but it keeps the room cool enough. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now and we know the neighbors well. It’s a practical environment where the main goal is just to keep the flow of goods moving without too many hiccups. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or art; we’d rather just have working printers and reliable internet. That’s pretty much the reality of our day-to-day life here. We just take things one delivery at a time and hope for the best.
