Our operation is based here in Delhi, and we spend most of our time dealing with packages and logistics. It is the kind of job where you are always looking at the clock because every shipment has a deadline. DHL Lemuit might sound like a big name, but on the ground here, it is just us moving boxes and making sure the trucks are loaded properly. The warehouse can get pretty chaotic, especially during the peak seasons when everyone is ordering stuff at once. We have heaps of pallets and shrink wrap everywhere. It is a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually pretty tired out. We do not really have a fancy office space; it is more about the loading docks and the sorting areas. Sometimes the scanners act up or a delivery gets delayed because of the Delhi traffic, which is a constant battle for our drivers. We try our best to keep things moving. We have a small corner where we keep the records and a kettle for making tea during the breaks. That is about as fancy as it gets around here. Most of the guys have been working here for years, so we have a system that works even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important. We just focus on getting the crates moved.
