Dheer Sons (India)

If you head down to Kashmere Gate, you’ll find us tucked away at 453/1, Gali Rajan Kalan in Punja Shariff. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone. Dheer Sons (India) has been part of this area for quite a while. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to the old city streets, but that’s just how Delhi is. We mainly deal with parts and supplies, the kind of stuff you can't just find at a regular store. The shop is filled with boxes stacked up to the ceiling. Sometimes I forget exactly what’s in the very back, but we usually find it eventually. It’s a family-run kind of thing, very down to earth. We drink a lot of tea while we talk to customers who walk in. It's not a cold, sterile environment. You hear the noise from the street, the rickshaws, and the people shouting. It’s full of life. We don’t have a website with fancy graphics or anything. People just know that if they need something specific for their machinery or business, they can come to Gali Rajan Kalan and we’ll see what we can do. It’s honest trade. We try to be helpful and stay out of the way of the chaos outside our door. Some days are slow, others we can't keep up with the orders that come through. We just keep our heads down.
