Our office is located at 63, Tilak Khand in the Giri Nagar area of Kalkaji. It is a fairly well-known part of New-Delhi. We have been operating out of this building for a bit, and it serves its purpose. There is nothing too flashy about the setup here. We have the usual desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that you would find in any working office. Devyani International handles a lot of things, so there is usually a lot of activity going on at any given hour. People are coming in and out, and the phones are pretty much always ringing with something that needs attention. Kalkaji is a busy neighborhood, so there is always something happening outside our windows too. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, papers tend to pile up on the desks. We have a small staff here and everyone knows each other’s names and how they like their tea. We do not have those big glass conference rooms or expensive furniture. It is just a practical space where we come to work and do our best to keep things moving. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Delhi. We do not make a big deal out of things. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the day and try to head home on time.
