We are located at 25/1/1 Fakir Bagan Lane in Howrah. If you’ve ever been to this part of West Bengal, you know the lanes can be pretty narrow and crowded. It’s a lively neighborhood, to say the least. Our office is tucked away here, and it’s usually filled with maps and printouts of train schedules. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to go and trying to figure out the best way to get them there. It’s not all fancy vacations; a lot of it is just sitting at a desk and waiting for the internet to work so we can book a ticket. We have a few old computers and a lot of notebooks where we scribble down notes. Sometimes the street noise outside is so loud we have to shout over the phone. We like being in Howrah though, it feels real. We aren't one of those big travel agencies in a glass building. We are just here in the lane, doing our work day by day. Most of our furniture is mismatched, and there’s always a stack of brochures that nobody has looked at in years. We know the local train timings by heart because we use them ourselves. It’s a busy life, trying to keep track of everyone’s plans while the tea cools down on the desk. Sometimes we stay late just to make sure a booking went through properly.
