Delhi University Engineering Depatrment

This is where the engineering department handles its day-to-day stuff, right here at A 1/79 in Nand Nagri. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and the office reflects that most of the time. We aren’t in the middle of a big campus; we’re tucked into this neighborhood, dealing with all the paperwork and files that come with university work. There are stacks of folders everywhere, and the printers are usually humming or jammed. We spend a lot of time answering questions from students who manage to find their way here, or just organizing the technical records for the department. It’s a practical workspace, nothing too impressive to look at, just desks, chairs, and a lot of cabinets. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know how to navigate the system, even when things get a bit chaotic with deadlines. Outside, Nand Nagri is always moving, and you can hear the traffic and the vendors while we’re trying to get through the afternoon log. We just focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the entries are correct and the mail gets sent out to the right offices. It’s a lot of administrative grind, but it’s what we do. We don’t have fancy lounges, just a tea kettle in the corner and enough pens to get us through the week. Everyone just chips in to keep the office running while the students keep us on our toes.
