Our office is located at 78 Jnu Old Campus in New Delhi. It’s a bit different from the usual tourist spots because it’s tucked away in the campus area. The old campus has a lot of trees and is generally quieter than the rest of the city. We work out of this building, dealing with various tourism-related tasks for the city. It’s not a big glass building; it’s more of an older, functional space. We have stacks of maps and various guides lying around on the desks. People come in sometimes looking for information on how to get to certain monuments or what buses to take. We spend a lot of time on the phone or coordinating with other offices. The atmosphere here is quite academic because of the Jnu surroundings. You see students and teachers walking by all the time. Our daily routine involves a lot of paperwork and updating records about different sites across Delhi. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream vacation; we just provide the facts and the brochures that the city puts out. The office can be a bit dusty sometimes with all the old files, but it’s a comfortable place to work. It’s just a small part of the bigger city tourism department, located in a green corner of the capital where things move a bit slower than at the main stations. We just keep things moving as they should.
