Our office is located at F-79 in Vikas Puri. It’s a regular building in a residential sort of area, so it’s not as crazy as the city center. We deal with a lot of different things related to getting around Delhi and seeing the sights. It’s mostly administrative work, sitting at desks and handling the logistics of transport. People come by asking about different spots in the city or how to get from one point to another. We have a lot of maps and schedules laying around. It’s a government-related setup, so there’s always a bit of paperwork to fill out. Sometimes the computers are slow, but we manage. The staff has been here for a good while and we know the Vikas Puri neighborhood pretty well. It’s not a flashy tourist office with big posters everywhere, just a functional space where we handle the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who come in to check their routes. It can get a bit dusty with all the files, but we try to keep things organized. Mostly, we just provide the information people need for their trips. There’s nothing too complicated about it. We open up in the morning, do our work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a steady job in a quiet part of the city, and we just focus on keeping the transport side of things moving every single day.
